Who We Are?

Climate Warriors Foundation is a Sri Lanka–based, non-governmental organization established to confront the climate crisis through knowledge, action, and institutional leadership.

We exist at the intersection of science, society, and policy, working to ensure that climate action is informed, inclusive, and grounded in local realities. Our focus is not symbolic activism, but measurable, long-term impact.

Founded by a multidisciplinary team spanning technology, engineering, medicine, architecture, research, and public policy, the Foundation brings together diverse expertise with a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

Our Purpose

Climate change is not a distant or abstract threat.
For Sri Lanka, it is a lived reality-seen in floods, landslides, droughts, coastal erosion, and rising socio-economic vulnerability.

Our purpose is to strengthen the country’s ability to understand, adapt, and respond to these challenges by empowering people, informing institutions, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.

Evidence over opinion – Decisions must be driven by data, science, and lived experience.
Access over exclusivity – Climate knowledge must be available in local languages and usable formats.
